What's the difference between preventive care and an annual exam?

An annual exam is the once-a-year touchpoint where we update everything. Preventive care is the bigger framework, screenings, vaccine schedule review, lifestyle, risk reduction, that the annual exam plugs into.

Are preventive services covered by insurance?

Under the Affordable Care Act, most commercial insurance covers a long list of preventive services at 100% with no copay. We'll verify and let you know if anything would have a cost.

How often do I need vaccinations as an adult?

Annual flu shot. COVID boosters as recommended. Tdap every 10 years. Pneumococcal and shingles starting at 50–65 depending on the vaccine. We track your full schedule and let you know exactly what's due. For the shots themselves, most are available at your local pharmacy.

Do you offer travel vaccinations?

We provide pre-travel consultations and identify exactly which vaccines you need for your destination. For the shots themselves, we'll refer you to a pharmacy or travel clinic that carries them.
